Blackbox 10

Vector illustration. I created this series in the Fall of 2007 because I wanted to get back into doing original art again. It has been a long time since I was painting on a regular basis and sometimes I get tired of always creating designs for other people. These started out as ink drawings that I scanned and made into vector images to use a million different ways.

This one is one of my favorites. I have a canvas print of it hanging in my office.

Oil on canvas. These are 2 of my favorites. Both were sold a long time ago and I really wish I still had them.

Oil on canvas. Another favorite. This one was 6 feet tall and I liked it a lot. It was also sold.

Colorbox 09

Vector Illustration. A variation of the Blackbox series, I took the same vector images, squared them off and played around with 2 tone color combinations.

Blackbox 04

Vector Illustration. I started sketching out designs on faces and then scanning them in to the computer and turning them in to high contraast vector art. Then I've played around with the colors or kept them black and tried different backgrounds. It's been a good exercise.
